I am simply answering the question posed by the women here: what can I do to add value? The answer is simple: NOTHING. There is nothing you can do that makes it worthwhile for a man to risk his livelihood and freedom in exchange for highly limited access to a well worn orifice and specious companionship or some laughably outdated value like homemaking. Another point touched on earlier is that men have adapted and moved on. I get laid more, eat better and work less, have more money to spend and more time to pursue my interests than any married man I know. I never met a single married man that I didn’t pity. To attempt to argue and invalidate is disingenuous and reeks of desperation. The main benefit to marriage that men had in the past was a stable home and family life. Once his home and children can be taken away on a whim then forget it. We all know too many men who have had their lives ruined by the divorce industry and the story is always the same (she was great until…), there’s nothing you can do that makes up for that risk. What percentage of the men who know have had their lives ruined by the divorce industry? How does that square with our estimates that no more than 5% of men (and probably far fewer) experience this fate?
