I’ve just started reading this blog and I’ve noticed this theme comes up alot and for the life of me I don’t know why.

Barack Obama says he’s Black. There is no discussion to be had about his race because he’s ended it by identifying himself. What mystifies me is that there are people that gloss over Obama’s chosen form of identification as if it’s been forced upon him by the Black community or some other outside force.

Obama has chosen to call himself Black. Obama chose to marry a Black woman. Obama has two Black children by choice. Not by force, or by the media, or by other Black people, but by way of his own experience.

Wanting Barack to identify differently is a waste of time. Have you read any of Obama’s books to understand why he even came to identify as such?
